OFFICE NETWORKING

Most businesses from small to enterprise have a network in place.

An office network allows you to share your computer's:

HARDWARE

such as printers, scanners, CD/DVD drives etc.  This can mean financial savings as well as saving the space vs. having multiple devices.

FILES

No need to copy to portable media and transfer files manually.  Networks create the possibility for Shared Folders, which ideally contain documents that are required by multiple users IE templates, photos.  This provides a great convenience and efficiency.
SOFTWARE Copy the contents of your installation disks to a drive on one of your networked computers and Install programs from the network instead of from CD/DVD ROM.  This is much faster and you always know where to find the software. It is also VERY efficient when redoing a computer.  An added benefit of this is that you can store the original copy of your software as the backup copy, reducing the risk of damage.  BE SURE to follow the licensing guidelines for each software.
